Introduced by NHAI in 2025, the FASTag Annual Pass is a single fixed payment of ₹3,000 that covers a full year of travel on National Highways. It stays valid for 1 year or 200 trips on National Highways, whichever comes first. The pass is meant for private, non-commercial vehicles — cars, jeeps and vans (Class 4) — and is linked to your existing FASTag rather than being a separate tag.
The annual pass makes sense for people who regularly cross National Highway toll plazas. Because it's a fixed ₹3,000 for the year, frequent NH commuters save versus paying per trip — ₹3,000 ÷ 200 trips works out to about ₹15 per trip equivalent. If your driving keeps taking you through NHAI fee plazas, one upfront payment replaces a string of individual toll charges.
