New FASTag, instant recharge, KYC update and replacement — sorted for your vehicle wherever you are in Pune. Message us your area and vehicle number, and we'll take it from there.
From the IT corridor of Hinjewadi and Kharadi to the older heart of Shivajinagar and Camp, and right across Pimpri-Chinchwad — we help Pune vehicle owners with the full range of FASTag services without the bank queues or app confusion.
A snapshot of the localities we serve — if yours isn't listed, we almost certainly still cover it.
Pune is ringed by tolled corridors in every direction, and which plaza hits you depends entirely on which way you leave the city. These are the ones that matter:
| Toll plaza | On route | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Urse | Mumbai–Pune Expressway | The Pune-side plaza; the first charge on any run to Mumbai |
| Khalapur | Mumbai–Pune Expressway | The Mumbai-side plaza on the same route — both legs are charged separately |
| Khed Shivapur | NH 48, Pune–Satara–Bengaluru | The southbound plaza for Satara, Kolhapur and everything down NH 48 |
| Talegaon | Old Mumbai–Pune highway corridor | The parallel route when the Expressway is blocked — still tolled |
| Narayangaon | NH 60, Pune–Nashik | The Nashik and Shirdi run, heavy with pilgrim and goods traffic |
| Patas / Bhigwan | NH 65, Pune–Solapur | The eastbound corridor towards Solapur and Hyderabad |
Plaza names and locations as commonly signposted. NHAI, MSRDC and the concessionaires revise toll rates, and occasionally plaza locations, so treat the board at the plaza as the final word on the fare.
The Expressway is the single busiest FASTag corridor in Maharashtra, and it charges on both legs — Urse on the way out, Khalapur on the way back. A tag topped up for one direction fails on the return, usually in the evening, in a queue, with no good options. If you do the Mumbai run regularly, keep a standing balance rather than recharging per trip; we can top up any NETC issuer in minutes over WhatsApp.
The second thing that catches Pune drivers is KYC rather than money. A tag with a healthy balance and lapsed KYC is declined exactly the same way, and the plaza staff cannot tell you which it is. A status check takes under a minute and tells you whether the problem is balance, KYC or a hotlist before you pay to fix the wrong one.
Pune's commercial traffic is relentless: the Chakan and Bhosari auto belt, the container movement down NH 48, and the daily tempo and bus runs to Mumbai, Nashik and Solapur. For an operator, two things cost real money. The first is the wrong vehicle class on the tag — class is set by category and axle count, and a wrong class means being overcharged at every plaza for as long as the tag is in use. The second is a tag going hotlisted mid-route with a load on board.
We issue in bulk with the class verified against each RC, recharge centrally so no vehicle is stranded, and hand over statements that reconcile against trips. See the fleet guide for how that works, or FASTag across Maharashtra for the wider corridor picture.
For a lot of Pune drivers, genuinely yes — and for a lot of others, genuinely no. The NHAI FASTag Annual Pass covers 200 trips or one year on National Highway fee plazas, for private, non-commercial cars, jeeps and vans only. Commercial taxis and goods vehicles are not eligible at all.
The catch specific to Pune is that the Mumbai–Pune Expressway is not an NHAI National Highway plaza, so Expressway toll is charged from your balance as normal even with the pass active. If your tolled running is mostly NH 48 or NH 60, the pass can pay for itself quickly; if it is mostly the Expressway, it will not. Our pass calculator works it out from your own trip count, and the annual pass page sets out the conditions in full.
Pune vehicles carry MH 12 registration and PCMC vehicles MH 14; either is routine for us. Walk in to the counter at Shivraj Nagar, Rahatani, or send the documents on WhatsApp and skip the trip.
WhatsApp your Pune area and vehicle number — new tag, recharge or a fix, we'll reply with the next step in minutes.
Our counter is at Shivraj Nagar, Rahatani, Pimpri-Chinchwad 411017, a few minutes from the Expressway entry at Ravet, and you are welcome to walk in. You do not have to: send a photo of the RC and the vehicle number on WhatsApp and we issue it without you travelling anywhere in Pune.
It depends on the direction. Urse on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway heading to Mumbai, with Khalapur on the far end; Khed Shivapur on NH 48 going south towards Satara and Kolhapur; Narayangaon on NH 60 towards Nashik; and Patas or Bhigwan on NH 65 towards Solapur. All of them run on FASTag.
No. The 3,000 rupee annual pass applies to National Highway fee plazas under NHAI, and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is not one of them - its toll is charged from your FASTag balance as normal even with the pass active. If most of your tolled running is the Expressway, the pass will not pay for itself.
Yes. Send the vehicle number and the amount on WhatsApp and we top up a tag from any NETC issuer - SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Paytm, Airtel, IDFC and the rest - usually within minutes. You do not need to know which bank issued it.
Almost always KYC rather than balance. Issuers hotlist tags with incomplete or expired KYC, and a hotlisted tag is declined at the plaza regardless of how much is loaded. Send us the vehicle number and we will tell you which of the three causes it actually is before you pay to fix the wrong one.
Yes. Send the RC list and we confirm the correct axle class for each vehicle before issuing, then set up central recharge so nothing is stranded mid-route, plus statements you can reconcile against trips. The Chakan and Bhosari belt is a large part of our work.
Yes - PCMC is where our counter is. We also cover Mumbai, Nashik, Satara, Kolhapur, Solapur and the rest of the corridor. Recharge, KYC, status checks and challan lookups are remote work, so distance makes no difference.
