Thane is the gateway between Mumbai and the Nashik and Gujarat corridors, with Bhiwandi's logistics hub next door.
Bhiwandi's warehousing belt puts thousands of trucks through Thane's toll plazas every day. For fleet operators that means bulk tags and central recharge; for commuters on Ghodbunder Road it means keeping a balance that survives the daily run.
These are the tolled routes Thane vehicles use most — every one of them runs on FASTag:
We serve all of Thane and the surrounding belt. A snapshot:
Outside Thane? We cover the rest of the state too — see FASTag service across Maharashtra, or browse every city we serve.
Thane vehicles carry MH 04 registration. The FASTag you need depends on your vehicle class, not the city — a private car is Class 4, while trucks and buses run from Class 6 up to Class 16 by axle count. Send us the RC and we'll confirm the correct class before issuing, so you're never charged the wrong toll rate.
Send a WhatsApp to +91 94521 81700 with a photo of your RC and the vehicle number. We confirm the correct vehicle class, issue the tag from whichever NETC bank suits you, and tell you where to collect it or have it delivered in Thane. Vehicles on the MH 04 series are usually handled the same day.
Yes. Recharge is fully remote — send your vehicle number and the amount on WhatsApp and we top up the tag on any NETC issuer within minutes. You do not need to travel anywhere in Thane to do it.
All of them. The routes Thane drivers use most — Eastern Express Highway, Mumbai–Nashik Highway, Ghodbunder Road and Mumbai–Pune Expressway — run entirely on NETC FASTag and the lanes are cashless. Without a working tag you pay the higher cash rate at the plaza, where that option still exists at all.
Usually yes. A tag goes blacklisted for one of three reasons: low balance, incomplete or expired KYC, or the issuer hotlisting it. We check which it is against your vehicle number, clear the balance or KYC side the same day, and arrange a replacement if the tag itself is damaged. No visit from Thane is needed.
Send us the vehicle number and we look up pending e-challans against it, then tell you what is outstanding and where it was raised. We can only look a challan up and explain it — we cannot cancel, reduce or waive one, and nobody legitimately can.
Yes — we serve all of Thane and the belt around it, including Ghodbunder Road, Majiwada, Kolshet, Manpada, Wagle Estate, Kalwa. Recharge, KYC, status checks and challan lookups all happen over WhatsApp, so distance makes no difference.
