Not sure if your tag will work at the next toll? Send us your vehicle number and we'll tell you exactly where it stands — and fix it if something's wrong.
A FASTag can stop working for several reasons that aren't obvious until you're stuck at a toll plaza paying double. A status check tells you, in one go, whether your tag is healthy and what needs fixing.
Everything is fine — the tag reads at the plaza and has enough balance. Keep a small buffer so a big toll doesn't push you negative mid-trip.
The tag still works but is close to empty. Many issuers hotlist a tag once it drops below the minimum, so top it up before a long drive.
The tag is temporarily blocked and won't pay tolls — you'll be charged cash (often double) at the plaza. The usual causes are low balance, pending KYC, or vehicle details that don't match the tag.
The tag has been shut down by the issuer or by a previous owner. In this case a fresh tag has to be issued rather than revived.

Plain-English summary of what's wrong.
Recharge, KYC or replacement as needed.
A status check is only useful if the fix follows. If the tag is low we recharge it, if KYC is pending we complete it, and if the tag is damaged or permanently blocked we replace it — usually the same day.
