Check and clear pending e-challans on your vehicle

Most people find out about a challan far too late. Send us your vehicle number and we'll pull up every pending challan, explain what it's for, and help you clear it.

Why pending challans matter

An e-challan is a traffic penalty issued electronically by the traffic police — often from a camera, so you may never have been stopped. It sits against your vehicle number until it's paid, and an unpaid challan can quietly cause bigger problems later.

  • Can hold up RC transfer, renewal or fitness
  • Comes up when selling the vehicle
  • Can be enforced at a checkpoint later
  • Long-pending ones may be referred to court

What we check for you

We look up every challan recorded against your vehicle and give you a clear list rather than a confusing portal screen.

  • All pending and past challans
  • Date, place and offence for each one
  • Amount due
  • Status — pending, paid or court-referred

Paying a challan

Once you've seen the list and decided what to clear, we help you make the payment through the official government channel and pass you the receipt. Keep that receipt — it's your proof if the same challan resurfaces.

Straight answer: we can't reduce or cancel a challan — nobody can do that outside the legal process. What we can do is find them, explain them, help you pay correctly, and tell you when contesting is the better option.

If you believe a challan is wrong

Challans do get issued in error — wrong number plate reading, a vehicle you'd already sold, or a duplicate entry. These have to be contested through the proper route rather than simply ignored.

National Lok Adalat

Traffic challans are taken up periodically at National Lok Adalat sittings, where many pending cases are settled quickly and often at a reduced amount. If your challans are old or disputed, waiting for the next sitting is frequently the smarter move — we'll tell you if that applies to you.

Sold the vehicle?

If the challan is dated after you sold the vehicle, the transfer of ownership record is what protects you. Get the RC transfer completed and keep the sale paperwork.
